EXPERIENCE Worked for two summers at Villa Park Animal Hospital, Villa Park, transferring and returning animals from housing area to the working surface; correctly restraining the animal so there was minimum movement while administering injection; and assisting vet during surgical procedures done under general anesthetic. The topics included animal care and handling, laboratory chemical analysis, parasitology, pharmacy and nutrition, preparation and administration of drugs, X-ray procedures, medical nursing, and emergency procedures.
